Perfect for helping with outreach and sponsorships. This role helps grow local partnerships, manages outreach to other organizations, builds event attendance.

Duties: Network with community leaders, drop off flyers, speak with potential supporters.

💰 Fundraising Friend

You’ve got ideas (and maybe even a spreadsheet) for how to raise money in creative, fun, and meaningful ways. Whether you’ve done grant writing, donor relations, or just love brainstorming… we need you! This role focuses on raising money through events, business partnerships, and donation campaigns.

Duties: Secure donors/sponsors, assist in grant applications, brainstorm campaigns.

📱 Social Media Star

You love a good Canva moment, keep up with trends, and know how to make people stop scrolling and pay attention. Help us build our online presence and share our impact with the world. This role manages and supports online engagement, content creation, and group growth.

Duties: Post reels/stories, design content, reply to messages/comments, promote events.

🧤 Hands-On Helper

The muscle behind our mission—on-site support for physical tasks and events. You’re the first to show up, the last to leave, and always willing to roll up your sleeves—whether it’s setting up tables, running a booth, or leading a kids’ activity. You’re dependable and full of heart.

Duties: Set up tents, move supplies, help kids with crafts, serve refreshments.

🎨 Creative Visionary

You love big ideas and aren’t afraid to chase them. From launching new programs to elevating existing ones, you bring fresh energy and aren’t afraid to dream bold. Brings fresh ideas and visuals for events, campaigns, and branded content.

Duties: Assist with flyer/poster creation, suggest themes, contribute creative ideas.

🕊️ Heart & Mission Advocate

Embodies ABF’s heart and mission, offers emotional support and spiritual encouragement. You feel this work deeply. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, youth mentor, or someone who simply gets the value of what we do—your lived experience adds powerful insight to our mission.

Duties: Share mission at events, everyday, and online. Represent ABF with compassion.

Background Check:

I understand that a $35 background check is required to serve of the ABF Board. I consent to this process and will provide any necessary information to complete it. (Fee to be paid via cash or check or through our website.) Background checks will be processed once payment has been made. This payment is not refundable. Failed background checks will not receive their fee back.

Volunteer Shirt Purchase:

I agree to purchase a $20 ABF Volunteer shirt if selected for the board.

Commitment to Mission:

I understand that serving on the ABF Board is a volunteer position and will receive no monetary compensation for my efforts. I agree to uphold the values, mission, and vision of the Ashlyn Bowman Foundation in all activities and communications.

Confidentiality & Conduct:

I will maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or personal information and represent ABF with integrity, compassion, and professionalism at all times.

Time Commitment:

I acknowledge that board participation may include regular meetings, events, and volunteer opportunities. I will communicate openly about my availability and capacity.

Removal Clause:

ABF reserves the right to remove any board member whose behavior (online included) or participation is inconsistent with the values or expectations of the foundation.
